Salon Policy

Consultations

Futurist Empressions Natural Khrown Kare honors hair care first. We won't sacrifice the strength and condition of your hair for the aesthetics of a style. In an effort to provide all of our clients with the best service and experience, consultations are required for all first time clients and for clients that have not received services in over six months. Once the consultation is complete, you may book your appointment online.

The consultation allows both you and the stylist to be aware of what to expect regarding pricing, timing, techniques, desired style, etc. Consultations are available via FaceTime or Google Hangouts upon availability. Please remove all hair styling (this includes clients with locs) so we can view the true nature of the hair during the consultation. 

Booking

We insist all clients book your appointments online for easy access to our direct booking system. If you are an existing client, you may enter the email you have on file with us and request a password. The computer will generate a password for you to use for initial log in. Once you've successfully logged in you may change your password by clicking edit profile.You also have the option of canceling future appointments just not on the same day as the appointment you are trying to cancel.

A $20 deposit is required for some services and appointments timed over two hours on our booking systems. You may call in and make a request to make the deposit via phone if you feel more comfortable. You may also make a deposit via PayPal or in store. All deposits are non-refundable if appointment is not cancelled 48 hours prior to appointment time (this includes the days we are closed). Any future standing appointments prescheduled following a no show or missed appointment will be cancelled on the date of the first no show appointment. You must then come in and make
another set of standing appointments accompanied with a deposit reflecting the the total price of services. Any appointments booked by someone else for someone not connected to the profile that booked the services may not
be honored.

We see our clients primarily by appointment so that you receive the attention, time, and service geared exclusively for you during your scheduled time. Walk-ins are seldom and dependent on the availability of the time, stylist, and service desired. We highly recommend you book future appointments at the end of your services to ensure regular hair maintenance and to avoid last minute calls.

If you are preparing for a special event (i.e. Birthdays,holidays, wedding, etc), we recommend scheduling your appointment two weeks in advance. We will generally contact you to confirm all scheduled appointments a few
days before your appointment. If you miss the confirmation call, please return our voicemail, text, or email at your earliest convenience.


Cancellations

We understand that emergencies happen. In the event you can foresee you will be unable to make your appointment, we ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to rescheduling or canceling any appointment. We are very
grateful to the majority of our clients that respect our time by following this policy. However, as we have grown, we have experienced increased issues regarding this subject.

As a result, we have made the following policy change, effective immediately:

If a cancellation is made within less than 24 hours notice or if you are a "no-call no-show", a non-refundable cancellation fee of $25 is required before scheduling the next appointment.This $25 payment is separate from
the total payment for hair styling services rendered. There will also be a $20 deposit due for the follow-up hair appointment secondary to the initial canceled or missed appointment. The secondary deposit is refundable with a
48 hours notice of cancel or rescheduling. The secondary deposit is non-refundable without a 48 hours notice of cancellation, or reschedule. We encourage you to use your online client profile to stay updated on your future appointments.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may have to: have a shortened service, wait for the next available stylist, or reschedule.
Any non-refundable deposits will not be applicable to appointments rescheduled due to the lateness of 15 minutes or more.

We want to be able to always operate as the same business you love, but we cannot do it alone. Our time--like yours--is valuable. Communication failures resulting in excessive "no-shows", last minute cancellations, or rescheduling compromises our schedules and we want to take care of all clients the best we can including those on our waiting list.
